Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using MDRN ("the Software") or the website at mdrn.io ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Gašper Zajc. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MDRN is a voice dictation application that runs locally on your device. The Service provides account management, license validation, and payment processing. All speech recognition and text processing happens on your device — no voice data is transmitted to our servers.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a Google or GitHub account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials. You must provide accurate information and may only create one account per person.

4. Subscriptions and payments

• MDRN offers monthly, yearly, and lifetime subscription plans.
• Monthly and yearly plans include a 30-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
• Recurring subscriptions (monthly and yearly) automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period.
• The lifetime plan is a one-time payment granting permanent access.
• All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
• Prices are listed in euros and may be subject to change. Existing subscriptions will not be affected by price changes until renewal.

5. Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with MDRN, contact us at zajc.gasper@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund. Refunds after 14 days are at our discretion.

6. License

A valid subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Software on your devices. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, or modify the Software.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Software runs locally but requires an internet connection at least once every 30 days to validate your license. If the Software cannot verify your license within this period, some features may be restricted until a connection is established. The Service (account management, license validation) may experience downtime for maintenance.

9. Limitation of liability

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gašper Zajc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software or Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
