Your domain, served.
Once you go live, your app answers at a domain you own, with a certificate MDRN issues and renews.
What you get.
Two DNS records.
Add a CNAME and an ownership TXT record at your DNS host. MDRN never writes to your DNS.
Checked for you.
MDRN checks the domain on its own after you add it. Until it is found, the console shows which record is missing.
HTTPS handled.
The domain serves over HTTPS, TLS 1.2 and newer, and the certificate is renewed before it expires.
From waiting for DNS to Active.
Add the domain and set two records. MDRN finds them, issues the certificate, and the domain goes active with HTTPS.
- Waiting for DNSshop.acme.exampleCNAME edge.mdrn.pageTXT ownership
- Issuing certificateshop.acme.exampleOwnership proven
- Activehttps://shop.acme.exampleServing, with its certificate
Questions.
Can I add a domain before I go live?
No. Your own domains come with going live: until then your app answers at its generated address.
Does an apex domain work?
Yes, when your DNS host supports CNAME flattening or ALIAS records. A wildcard or an IP address does not.
What if another workspace already holds my domain?
Add the ownership TXT record the refusal gives you and add the domain again. That removes their claim and the domain is yours.
